If the sun is out, you can visit us on your way to the water, for instance, since you will go directly past the butterfly house on your way to the beach. Papilonia Karlovy Vary is part of the Diana Excursion Grounds (www.dianakv.cz), which you can comfortably access by a funicular directly from town. You can admire the panoramic views from the lookout tower next to the butterfly house, equipped with a lift (free admission), you can purchase refreshments in the restaurant with a summer terrace, and your children can romp about the outdoor playground or visit the mini zoo here. And once you have had your fill of the Diana Excursion Grounds, we recommend that all nature-lovers take a walk on the trails leading through the enchanting spa forest.

Butterfly House as a unique journey back in time

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Papilonia Prague has had to cease its operation with immediate effect. We would like to emphasize that this step is not by our own will, nor was it caused by any fault on our part.
Prague will not lose its butterflies. We are already intensively working on preparing a new location. We look forward to welcoming you in the future to a new, even more beautiful Papilonia in Prague.
